Business Process Analysis (BPA)

Our business process analysis is chargeable and typically follows on from a product demonstration and project and software cost estimate.

If on completion of the BPA the decision is taken to proceed with the project, a project day will be provided Free of Charge as a discount against our first invoice. The customer is therefore only making a commitment at this stage to the cost of the business process analysis, not the full project costs.

The BPA is the first stage in defining a project. We will visit the client site for one or two days as necessary to:

  • Understand in detail the current process, including details of all internal and external documents, Management Reports and unique processes and requirements.
  • Understand any changes that you wish to make to current processes and procedures.

Following the visit we will

  • Document the requirement by producing a Business Process Analysis or Project Definition Report.
  • Produce an initial Task List that can later be developed into the Project Plan.
  • Prepare a Final Proposal

At this stage the customer will have a clear view of the necessary work to implement the proposed project with any additional software or hardware defined, and the associated costs, and can make the decision whether or not to proceed.

Every project will be resourced with a mix of internal staff and Coast consultants - we are experienced project managers who will help you manage your resources and time to bring the project to a successful conclusion.
