Implementation Consultancy

Sage software is designed to be easy to install, it uses a familiar user interface, and it also comes with a choice of standard company settings to get you up and running quickly. However, as businesses grow and mature and expand, business processes can become more complex. Sage 50 can grow as you grow, by adding users, companies and additional functionality by changing versions.

When we are engaged to manage an implementation we follow three steps that help us implement an efficient system that is a good fit for your business.

Step 1 -  Understanding the Business Requirements

We will to spend time discussing your business and vision. We help you think about areas of your business from a systems perspective and will ask the right questions - we use discussion templates that we bring to the meetings. They help us define the scope of the implementation and by understanding your business, including future plans we can then move to the next stage. Output = Business Requirements.

Step 2 - Design and Prototype

‘Prototype early and often’. We do not believe that that it's helpful to design in private and then spring the system on the you at the last moment. . Where possible we design with the users of the system, increasing everyone’s understanding. This results in a 'Conference Room Pilot' where we bring it all together. This system test proves the design and demonstrate where there are areas that require tweaking. Output = fully configured system

Step 3 - Train and Support

We create desktop procedures for your team during the implementation and typically meet your leads in one on one training sessions. giving new system users a head start. Your team should know what to do and how to do when the system 'goes live'. We then provide support for the implementation over an agreed timescales and ongoing support is either direct from ourselves or through software cover from Sage.Output = A system that works and is supportive of your goals as a business.
