Chart of Accounts - Increased flexibility in the Chart of Accounts alloows reports to cater to individual businesses and norminal codes are now a fairer reflection of modern businesses. 

Annual Return of Trading Details (Ireland). Sage 50 Accounts 2012 is compliant with Irish Business Annual Return of Trading Details. Sage 50 will now automatically calculate this saving user time as this was manual in previous versions.

Quick Search Functionality - Allows users to conduct a search within a lst helping to find the relavant invoice / quote easily saving time and improving efficiency

Technical notes:

• Performance will be improved with higher specification computers and networks, and it only possible to install one copy on a single computer.
• Works with Microsoft Office 2003 and all later editions, and please ensure you have the latest Microsoft updates installed.
• The latest service packs should be installed for your operating system before installing or upgrading Sage products. 32-bit Operating Systems recommended.
• There are no browser requirements for Sage 50 Accounts however Sage recommends Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or above for internet access to Sage Support and important Sage updates for your products.
• Some features in Sage 50 Accounts, (for example Automatic Updates and Postcode finder), require an internet connection.
• Sage 50 Accounts single user licence allows installation on a single workstation. To use 50 Accounts over a network you will need a 2 user licence (additional charge applies), and if you would like to use 50 Accounts across multiple sites, a WAN must be in place.

Apple Mac compatibility

Sage software is not compatible with Apple Macs, unless you are running Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 via Apple’s Boot Camp utility.
