Sage 50 Manufacturing Controller is a powerful planning engine designed to help the business manage labour, material and machine costs in a busy manufacturing environment. Suited to manufacturing and assembly businesses, it provides the added functionality required to control production, process orders, sub-contract finishing, and track materials, automating your shop floor in the process.

Manufacturing controller provides powerful  MRP (Materials Resource Planning) functionality. In simple terms the system will help you efficiently manage your finished goods and component raw material stock. It does this by considering the factory demand and by looking at current and planned stock movements to help you produce to your product plan.

Combining the capabilities of Sage Batch Controller, Job Controller and Sage 50 Bill of Materials with a powerful Graphical Planner powered by Preactor International, Sage 50 Manufacturing provides you with all the tools required to enter ‘make for stock’ items, issue stock against work orders, manage your stock holding levels, and automatically updates your Sage 50 Accounts as you work.

Efficient and accurate, the Graphical Planner incorporated in Sage Manufacturing Controller enables you to calculate and run several different production plans with the same set of demands. You can run ‘what if’ scenarios to give you greater visibility on how to optimise production, and assess the impact on your resources before committing to a project. Once you plan is complete, Sage Manufacturing controller will automatically sequence the production for your finished item.

Sage Manufacturing Controller enables you to save time and organise your resources and sub-assemblies by sequencing your production to run ‘forwards’ from the start date, or ‘backwards’ from the due delivery date, whichever suits your plan most.

Sage Shop Floor Data Collection

Combine Sage Shop Floor Data Collection with your Sage Manufacturing controller as an optional module, and capture data directly from the shop floor.  Compatible with manual data entry and barcode scanners, this will allow your shop floor production staff to book time to works orders so efficiently capturing costs and manufacturing time.

Please Note:

Sage 50 Accounts Professional is required to run Sage 50 Manufacturing Controller. If you are using a version of Sage 50 Accounts Professional issued prior to 2007, you may need to upgrade, please contact us to check compatibility.
