• Sage ACT! Scratchpad, a convenient, virtual notepad which allows you to write impromptu notes, phone number and reminders without needing to open Sage ACT!. These can be made into a checklist to be ticked off, printed to take with you, or pushed into Sage ACT! as activities, notes, history or assigned to contacts.

• Universal search that looks in contacts, groups, companies, opportunities, notes, history, and attachments.The search functon in Sage ACT is now faster and more expansive than ever.  Sage ACT! will search your contacts, groups, companies, opportunities, notes, history and attachments for any search term you enter. Searches can be filtered by all dates, 24 hours, last week and last month and will be displayed by relevance. To select simply double click to be taken to the relavant field and if it's not what you were looking for press back to view your search results again.

• Seamless interaction with Gmail™ - When an e-mail is sent and/or received in GMail the history will be recorded in Sage ACT! against the relevant contact. If you're in Google Mail you can see your ACT! contacts or vice versa.

• This product will not install or run on the Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, or Windows NT4 operating systems.
• The latest service packs should be installed for your operating system before installing or upgrading Sage products. 32-bit Operating Systems recommended.
• Whilst there are no browser requirements for Sage 50 Payroll, we recommend Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or above for internet access to Sage Support and important Sage updates for your products.
• Some features in Sage 50 Payroll, such as Automatic Updates and Submission of Year End returns to HMRC, require an internet connection. If you require any further information please contact your Sage Support representative.
• If you want to use 50 Payroll over a network you will need an unlimited user licence (additional charge applies), and if you want to use 50 Payroll at more than one site you will need a WAN linking the sites.

Apple Mac compatibility
Sage software is not compatible with Apple Macs, unless you are running Windows via Apple’s Boot Camp utility.
